Most of the 44mm luminor casing i am making are polished casing with brushed
crown guard.Recently I have made some 44mm brushed casing with burshed Cg too.

Out come is not bad at all.

1st Generation RXW watch

Apart from making the 2nd Gen RXW watch,I also make the the first gen RXW watch too.

The 1st gen RXW watch has Less Dome sapphire and Lugs screws are 2 pcs screw type.Wheras the 2nd gen watch has a 1950 sapphire and 1950 1pc screw lug bars.

Inspired by the new Panny Titanium RAdiomir 309 and 322 watch,I have made a serries of new 47mm radiomir homage watch .

Some people may think that 47mm casing is a bit too big for them.

45mm Radiomir casing is a very good altenative.

The 2nd Generation RXW watches

Why making these Panny hommage watches?

Gen Panny watches are getting very pricey to own.

Rep Panny watches are getting very popular too.But still some people do not like wearing rep watches.They prefer soemthing look similar to the Gen .

Thus there is a market demand for panny homage watches.Most panny homage watches listed in the E bay are not very good quality.

Glass is not sappire,water getting in easily and dials do not have lume power at all.Prices of these e bay wathes look very cheap.But after wearing it a few times,you will loseinterst in wearing them again.


On the other hand,there was a very good panny hommage watch.This is best known as the MM20 made by Japan Ken Trading. They used a 47mm 1950 steel case dome sapphire with Ar coating ,superleuemd dial and hands plus a Swiss unitas 6497 movt.
This watch is very well made and the finishing quality is excellent.

However,I was a bit disappointed to notice that there is a RECESSED cannon pin issue on this model.

Inital price offered by the Ken Trading was around us$600 but since they stopped making this model as a result of the law suit, 2nd hand price soared up to us$ 2,000 a piece.

Using a 47mm 1950 casing ,gold hands and sapphire ,RXW style dial and using a gen swiss made
unitas 6497 movt.

I have come up with a 2nd generation RXW watch.







Furthermore,I make differnt add on mods on this models too.

Apart from using the unitas 6497-1 movt,I am using other movt too such as Eta 2836 and 2842 auto movts .

Also asian made 7750 auto movt with sund dial at 9 is available too.

Hommage watches

Genuine Italian watches are too costly to own.


Many people like the design and prefer hommage watches as an alternative.


Thus this blog is about my collection of hommage watches.


Lets start with the very basic and popular model.




Namely the hommage of the Panny 111h.

This watch has a simple sterlie sandiwch c3 lumed dial.

This is a 44mm high polished steel case,sapphire crystal with Ar coating,swiss unitas hand winding 6497-1 movt,3atm Wr tested.

This watch has a sapphire see through case back so that we can look at the movt mechanism.

Dial and hands are made from Superluminova Swiss made pigment.

All wathces been tested with 100% 3atm WR by my in house Sigma Testing machine and

the watch movt's frequecny be carefully regulated.

Pvd version and Genunie titanium watches are possible too.
